SYNOPSIS:
Desperate to be liked, an unpopular teen leads the love of his life to a camp for a wild and fun time - not realizing it's a Bible Camp.
Randy (the "Randster", the "Rand-erooney". the "Rand-inski") Marsh is a hero in his own mind. The outcasts of his high school agree but that might all change if he can't deliver on his promises of breaking-in with the cool kids and getting the girl of his dreams.
Such a girl is Danielle Grant, a pretty nerd who is just gaining the notice of the school's top-jock. In a desperate attempt to prove he's part of the "in-crowd", Randy leads Danielle to Camp Eden, where he thinks everyone else is going for spring break.
But expectations of bon-fire keg parties and skinny dipping are soon dashed as Randy and Danielle discover that Camp Eden is an evangelical Bible camp. It comes complete with hourly devotionals, daily fasts and a camp counsellor itching to begin his own Holy War.
Danielle also discovers that she's sharing a room with her school nemesis, Shannon. Randy's faults and secrets are soon out in the open and Danielle's only wish is that Randy leave - a wish he can't grant because of the fire and brimstone head counsellor!
But while battling the elements, a wonder-kid named Jace and many injuries, Randy discovers new inspiration and hope. Randy's up-beat attitude, unusual perspective on scriptures and unexpected bravery catches everyone's eye - including Danielle's and Shannon's.
Can his new-found faith and budding romance survive outside Camp Eden? Or will the real world bring everyone crashing back to high school hell?
